I would like to welcome you to the District 79 website. If it is your first visit, hope you benefit from our great and useful information that we are glad to share with you.

During my Toastmasters' journey, which started on January 4th 2005, I met many leaders that made who I am today. I still remember the warm welcome I received in my first visit to my home club; the Manama Toastmasters club; the enthusiasm of the members, their eagerness to hear my speeches, their eyes of admiration, and the best evaluation that anyone wishes to get from a close friend to move you forward in your profession.   Indeed, it is the best professional family atmosphere I ever witness in a Club and that build the reason behind my commitment in toastmasters' movements.

Toastmasters International Educational Programs and Roles helped me a lot in my personal and professional life. In spite of my public speaking talent, my Public Speaking and Leadership Skills has improved drastically since I joined Toastmasters.

I believe Public Speaking and Leadership Skills go hand in hand. You cannot be a great leader without being a good communicator. Does this ring a bell? … Yes, it does! MK Gandhi, Martin Luther King and JF Kennedy are all great leaders with great leadership skills. In Toastmasters, you will learn valuable life-enhancing skills such as: Public Speaking, Leadership and Team Management skills, Giving Effective Feedback, Time Management Skills, Event Organization Skills.

Don’t we all want to organize parties for our families and friends?

These skills cannot be learned overnight or through a three days course. Emphasizing on the famous say “Practice makes man perfect”, hence it takes time to build these skills. Toastmasters International programs advocate life-long learning. As the late Cavett Robert once said,” the professional is never out of School.” In our District we always raise the bar of our performance higher and higher, we encourage and support our district members to grow by offering ample learning opportunities. We welcome everyone with open arms to be part of our District family. Join us and we will make it happen for you.

At our District 79, we believe that members are the most important value; they're our most precious asset and we do everything we can to help them develop, build the change they wish to see throughout there journey with toastmasters movement and to reach their goals that they always dream of. And we believe that Toastmasters is an organization that changes lives of its members by focusing on them to become better communicators and leaders.
