The movement of Toastmasters often fits the requirements of many a man, but takes a lot of upfront selling to introduce the concepts to the common man. The benefits are not self evident. Public Relations Personnel has this stupendous task - to campaign and communicate successfully Toastmasters’ mission and methods to members and non-members. The purpose is to win new members and sustain the interest of existing members at pretty high levels, gain recognition in the community for the services rendered by TMI Clubs.
Primary modes are Newsletters, Websites, Posters Articles, Attractive Agendas, Press releases, Radio talks, and many more. Generally speaking, these PR vehicles must rank high on the scores of clarity of thought, directly addressing the interests of the target audience. They should be creatively written in lucid, plain English and must have aesthetic appeal.
It was a mammoth task to collect the data as regards the past achievements and to organize them. Every effort has been made to see that the information provided is correct to the best of editors knowledge.
